 Senior 4 have been busy learning all about Chinese New Year. This year is the year of the dog. We learnt about how the New Year is celebrated in China and created our very own Chinese dragons like the ones that are used in the parades to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Senior 4 were very excited when Santa came to visit. We got lots of nice presents and gifts. In Senior 4 we have been very busy getting ready for Christmas. We had great fun putting up our Christmas tree. It looks great. Santa is coming to visit us and we made Christmas t-shirts that we can wear on the day. We also went to see the Pantomime in Íontas theater in Castleblayney. We watched Beauty and the Beast and it was very funny. Senior 4 have been getting active and are really enjoying taking part in weekly Boxercise. We really enjoy playing lots of different games and have great fun working with our partners. Senior 4 have had a busy few weeks settling back to school. We have really enjoyed doing lots of Art projects. We have displayed our work in the classroom and it looks great! We have learned all about autumn and the changes that take place. Using different autumn colours we created some autumn mosaics. Senior 4 have been having great fun during Music Therapy with Grainne. We love playing parachute games and using different musical instruments. May was another busy month in Senior 4. We were all delighted to see the sun shinning and enjoyed getting out for lots of walks and adventures. We loved hiking through the forest and we even had a picnic. |
