October was a busy month in Junior 6. We did some spooky art including black cats, orange pumpkins and shaving foam ghosts. We went outside to find animal habitats and found spiders in webs, a bird in a nest, woodlice under rocks, worms in the soil and ants under rotten wood. We carved out a pumpkin and dressed up for Trick or Treating and our Halloween Party. We enjoyed making Witch's Stew in the Witch's kitchen and practiced our counting skills by finding scary objects in the sand and counting how many we could find. We read Room on the Broom and dressed up as the witch in the story.
