We had a busy November learning all about The Three Little Pigs. We made straw houses, wooden houses and brick houses! We got to feel the actual materials as well before making our own paper houses. Take a look at our beautiful work.
Junior 4 are preparing for Easter by doing lots of Easter crafts such as making Easter eggs and chicks as seen below. We took part in an Easter Egg hunt and did some Easter physical activities in P.E. We also made some Mother's Day sun-catcher cards. Continuing with the Learning Through Play theme, 'The Garden', the boys and girls planted some daffodils. They are excited about taking care of their daffodils every day and watching them bloom.
Junior 4 went out and about in March to find some signs of Spring. Our theme is 'The Garden', so we were looking for different flowers around the school and Cootehill. We visited the local flower shops and Erica's Fairy Forest. We managed to squeeze in some exercise at Halton's Park too. In addition to all that, one of the boys in the class won the trophy for Super Troopers, plus we all visited the local Barber to see one of our classmates get his haircut, we were so proud of him!
Junior 4 were busy in February. We were focusing on doing all our regular literacy and numeracy activities alongside other activities such as Valentine's Day, our 'Transport' theme and we also attended Ash Wednesday. We welcomed a new boy into Junior 4. Below are some snapshots of the work and fun that has been happening in our classroom.
