On Monday May 16th Senior 6 went on a trip to Sligo. Our class completed a project in the Irish Aid project competition and we were in the top 15 schools in Ireland to make it to the Regional Finals. At the prize giving ceremony we learned an African song and an African dance. Our project was comparing a school day in a developing country to our school day, it was very interesting. After the prize giving we enjoyed lunch in Sligo and a walk around the town where we saw some sites and enjoyed an ice cream. It was a great day.
Oh and we also made it into this week’s Northern Standard.
