SCC3 started looking at Halloween this week. In Art we made ghosts!! We mixed shaving foam and glue to make a 'puffy' mix that is very textural and then we used paintbrushes to spread this mix onto ghost shapes. Rachael then cut out the ghosts and glued them onto a spooky Halloween background. Here you can see us very busy and the finished pictures.
Every month the children in the special care classes are exposed to a different colour. This month the colour is orange. We found lots of things that were orange and put them all into a basket and as part of circle time we sang a song called "I see something orange" and then picked something out of the basket. The textures are all very different and we all had our favourite thing to feel!!
