Every month each class decorates a window in the main school hall. We follow a theme, and November's theme was - Winter. We decided to make snow globes. First of all we painted a paper plate blue and then we chose a picture that reminded us of Winter. Finally we added some glue and then sprinkled glitter all over the plate. It made a lot of mess but we all thought it was great fun especially when we lifted the plate and all the extra glitter fell off.
During October, the topic in SCC3 was Halloween. The children looked at lots of different things and sang lots of songs associated with Halloween, but by far our favourite activity was making biscuits. The children had great fun rolling out the dough and then using the biscuit cutters to make bats and pumpkins. We watched them bake and loved the smells that came out of the oven. When they had cooled we HAD to test a few as part of "quality control" and then sent the rest home for our families to enjoy.
