On 23rd of October the staff and pupils were honoured with a visit from Finian Mc Grath, Minister of State for Disability Issues. Finian came to see the pupils and staff and to support them in all the great work being done in the school.
The visit was organised by Niamh Smyth TD.
Minister Humphries, Brendan Smyth TD, Caoimhglin O Caolain TD, Senator Joe Reilly and Senator Robbie Gallagher were at the school to welcome the Minister. All of the public representatives spoke about how proud they were of the school and its great reputation. They were also pleased about the progress in the school building plans and are all looking foreward to the Grand Opening!
The pupils and teachers performed some of their Assembly activities for the guests and Minister Mc Grath treated everyone to a version of “Bad Bad Leroy Brown”.
Before departing the guests visited some of the classrooms and stopped for a chat and photo shoot with the pupils and staff.
