Active school week

1/3/2017

We all had a wonderful time taking part in Active School Week. We started the week with a spinathon outside The Whitestar. Each class took a turn on the spin bikes and we also raised lots of money.

Senior 5 and 7 really enjoyed a trip to Pitch and Putt in Inniskeen. The weather was really nice. We divided into four groups and went around the course. It was a little tricky at first but we got the hang of it after a while.

To end Active School week, we performed a dance that we have been learning in PE. We performed in front of everyone in the main school.  We had a great week!

February

February was a great month in Senior 7.
On the 10th of February at 10 am we took part in operation transformation 10@10. We are all trying really hard to do more exercise and stay healthy. It was great fun.

Holy Family School, WOW day.

The Holy Family school had a WOW day (walk on Wednesday). We all dressed up in 1960's clothes and walked from St. Michael's Hall to the main school. The Guards came to help us and went at the front of our parade.
In the main school, each class had set up a stall all about transport and travel. We went around each area and had great fun at the different activities. Senior 5 and Senior 7 learnt a special dance for the day and we put on a splendid show for everyone. Everyone said that they really enjoyed it. It was great fun.

Birthday celebrations

Senior 7 celebrated a very special birthday in February. Niall was 18 years old. We went to the diner for our dinner and then had a party back at school. It was pancake Tuesday so we had a pancake party. Some children from senior 1 and senior 5 joined us for a fun afternoon.
