April  has been a very busy month with lots of little tasters of new and exciting activities.

We had the chance to try out Yoga for a few weeks in our local hall.  This was a great experience and completely new to most of us.  Here is a few pictures of us trying out different exercises.
The Holy Family school are having a European cultural day on Friday the 8th of May.  As part of this event senior 5 have been learning all about Greece.  We have been doing a big project on this and have learned about Ancient Greece, the flag of Greece, food, costumes, the land, and how to say hello in Greek.  We have had fun working together and all our hard work will be on display on the 8th on May.
We have started to learn about minibeasts and we will continue to work on this throughout May.  We took a trip to an insect hotel!!!  This was located in Clontibret in county Monaghan and it gives shelter to many different types of insects.  We had great fun trying to find different insects in the hotel and also in the ground around it.  We are looking forward to learning more about insects and minibeasts in the month of May.
